Sound and square binding in black pebblecloth-covered boards, with gilt stamped titles. Top and front edges of the text block have light to moderate foxing. The half title page has a soft crinkle. Otherwise, the inside pages are clean and unmarked. The dust jacket has some rubbing, scratches and creases. Heaviest along the edges. A little foxing to the reverse side and top of the flaps. Produced to celebrate the centennial of the city Belleville, Ontario by the Mikas, a local-history publishing company from this town, known for the quality of its work. Includes fifty colour reproductions of postcards, photographs, artwork and additional black and white photographs, mostly showing buildings and streetscapes. May require extra postage due to weight of book. .
