Henry Colburn, 1817 & 1816. First Edition. Hardback. Fine/No Jacket. An Historical Account of the Campaign in the Netherlands, in 1815. First edition, 28 hand-coloured aquatint plates, including additional title, 2 folding maps, slight occasional odd few spots, folding map with some soiling and repaired splitting to folds, 2 repaired tears, modern full morocco by Lewis & Harris of Bath, gilt-panelled and tooled, all edges gilt. Large 4to, Henry Colburn, 1817. A Fine copy. The best plates we have seen on this work, very attractively bound in period style full morocco. Offered together with an incomplete but also in Fine condition copy of Robert Bowyer's "The Campaign of Waterloo", 34pp. and 5 plates only, bound without the appendix and 2 associated portrait plates, but with all text and colour plates present, later half morocco, rebacked, folio, Robert Bowyer, 1816. Colour plates in Fine condition commensurate with the Mudford. A clean copy. A Fine set - the "Ultimate Waterloo"? More photographs or Video viewing on request
