Early days in Ohio's first county, Washington County, and its various communities -- Marietta, Harmar, Belpre, Beverly, Waterford, Lowell, Matamoras, etc. -- are recalled through a mixture of colorful narratives and factual data in this 57 Page Booklet reprinted from the 1892 Centennial edition of Henry Howe's Historical Recollections of Ohio. The spiral-bound booklet, is printed on 60# paper, with the fine print enlarged for easier reading. A sheet of clear vinyl has been added to protect the front cover. Benjamin Tupper and Son, Major Winthrop Sargent, Major Haffield White, Samuel Preston Hildreth, the Rev. I. W. Andrews, Sala Bosworth, William P. Cutler, Gen.
