Dublin: Printed by R. Napper, 1818. [4],v,[3],472pp., including errata. Contemporary speckled calf boards, tooled in gilt, recently rebacked, spine gilt, new endpapers. Boards a bit rubbed and scuffed. Interior quite clean and bright, with only minor foxing and occasional paper defects in blank margins. Contemporary ownership inscriptions on title page and opposite blank. A very good copy. The author was a Moravian Bishop and pastor of the Brethren's Congregation in Dublin, and here records a detailed history of their missions among the Delaware and Iroquois, as well as in Greenland, Labrador, the West Indies, South Africa, Russia, and South America.
