Mails from NYC usually within 12 hours. ; 79 pages; Castro's great defence at his trial in 1953 for leading the attack on the Moncada Barracks - it was an improvised speech of five hours. It was first clandestinely published in Spanish in Cuba in 1954; Castro wrote it invisibly in lime juice between lines of ordinary letters while in solitary confinement and under close guard. Foreword by Robert Taber, Secretary of the Fair Play committee; he was one of two CBS newsmen who bravely got a clandestine television interview with Castro in the mountains to expose Batista's claim that Castro was dead. .
