Full brown calf nicely rebacked with red morocco label to spine. Five raised bands; marbled endpapers. A total of 48 attractive engraved plates including several folding plates, with plate 48-50 engraved on a single folding sheet (there are no plates numbered II or III as called for by the publisher). Moisture stains to edges throughout affecting plate XIII. Toning to page opposite plate XIV. No previous owners' names or other defacements.
