A Good, navy blue cloth binding with gilt number on front board, gilt lettering on spine and blind stamped emblem on rear board, handling/scuffing and some soiling to board buckram, binding shaky, cracked front hinge, age toning to pages, previous owner handwritten ink name and date on prelim, very few pages with pencil markings, crimping to spine edges, rubbing to board and spine edges and joints, small abrasions to board corners, small bookstore sticker verso bottom rear free endpaper, moisture stain top text block edge and partially on top page margins, small rub mark bottom text block corner, bumped bottom board corners, some discoloration and foxing to pastedowns end endpapers, bit musty odor, without Dust Wrapper. Fold-out map in rear present and intact with 1-inchh tear to bottom. 8vo[octavo or approx. 6 x 9 inches]. 540pp., indexed, b&w illustrations.
