Large 8vo. - 71 colour plates all present w/ 2 b&w plates - Half leather binding w/ gilt decoration and morocco title label to spine, green buckram covers - 2" split to top of front joint and head of spine is a little chipped and pulled but still strong - Corners bumped w/ boards exposed - Fraying to spine ends - Covers rubbed w/ some chipping - Edges of text block toned - Endpapers heavily marked - Hinges breached but not open - Spine cracked but still strong - Scattered foxing throughout including to plates - Tear to leaf containing pages 125/126 - Small tear to final page of text, neatly fixed w/ tape - Tissue guards to plates 11 and 50 are creased - Plate 16 lacks tissue guard - Plate 64 has minor chipping to fore-edge - Book ow/ solid, clean and tight w/ bright plates - vi, 168, 29 pages

Teal cloth, title in gilt on black morocco label affixed to spine. Stated eighth edition on title page. Slight bow to covers, faint sunning to spine, wear to covers. Untrimmed pages. Offsetting to endpapers, previous ownership inscription on front free endpaper, otherwise clean internally. Complete with 79 full-page hand-colored plates, plus two uncolored plates. Front wrapper for original Parts I and VI bound in at end of volume.
