2007. Hardcover. very good + to near fine/very good + to near fine. Large quarto (11-1/4" x 8-3/4"). Double column text. Each separate volume is compete in itself and has its own index. Color printed pictorial dust jackets with black spines lettered in blue within a white frame, over gray cloth lettered in gilt. Profusely illustrated, including many plates in color. These are very heavy volumes that will require extra shipping charges. Their condition ranges from Very good + (Vol. 1 with minor shelf wear at foot of spine and small chip at head of d. j., to near fine (the other 5 volumes). Laid in at front of V. 2, Book Three is a typed letter signed. by J. B. Harley to Professor Norman Thrower at UCLA, dated March 6, 1988.
Note. This cartographic history is ultimately projected to be complete in 6 volumes, but beyond the first 3 volumes offered here, only Volume 6, Part II has since appeared, and Vol. 4 is only available online.
