Vol. 1 has a fold-out frontis portrait and three other fold-out illustrations along with two fold-out maps. Vol. 2 has two fold-out illustrations. Illustrations and maps in very good condition with just a couple tears along the folds.. The books are in Good condition with clean pages and tight, square bindings. Spines have 5 raised bands and are worn with no labels or decoration. Corners are worn. Minor foxing. Photos upon request.
