Philadelphia: J. B. Lippincott Co., 1874. Hardcover. Good. 4 3/4 x 7 1/4 in. Half brown calf with marbled paper boards, gilt lettering and decoration on spine, 4 wide raised bands. Marbled endpapers and sides of text block. B&W frontis. Condition is GOOD ; edges and corners worn, corners rounded with some having inner board showing. Vol 2 has crack at front hinge though the binding remains very strong. Calf is a bit rubbed at covers and spines are sunned with rubbing and some shallow scratches. Text very clean with no markings, both bindings solid and strong. History. Stax.
