UK: The Folio Society, 1998. Book. Near Fine. Hardcover. Folio Society Reprint. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. This Folio Society edition of Edward Gibbons ' The History of the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire ', is an eight volume set, in two slipcases, four volumes in each. The books appear to be in an unread condition and are square, tight and clean, The slipcases are in maroon coloured paper with a decorated side panel in gilt, one slipcase is good with bumps to the lower corner and light marking to the undecorated panel, the other has split down two of it's seams which has been reinforced with white cardboard strips on the inside . Book price includes 2nd class parcel post in UK only..
