New York, U.S.A.: Limited Editions Club, 1956. Bound in the publishers luxurious floral cloth with black title label to spine. Ths is a special limited edition of 1500 copies produced specifically for The Limited Editions club of New York and signed by the famous illustrator Edward Ardizzone. This copy is number 66 Each illustration has been hand coloured at the studio of Walter Fischer. The book looks unread and is very tightly bound. It is almost 'as new' in its appearance and remains very fresh and presentable. Housed in the sturdy brown slipcase which is in fine condition. Bright and vivid colour illustrations by Edward Ardizzone capture the books essence fantastically ! A very nice copy indeed.. First Edition Thus. Decorative Cloth. Fine/Fine.
