About This Item

Chicago: Belford, Clarke & Co. Decorative boards with ornate cover design, rebacked with green cloth laid over original material and not effecting lettering or cover design, new super and vintage endpapers added, inner front hinge and next page were ironically repaired with white tape in a relatively sloppy manner, tape repairs on the edges of some of the pages before p. 18, sporadic edge repairs after that, pages yellowing but appear to be strong, edgewear colored to match cover, all in all a decent reading copy that looks pretty nice from the outside. . G-. Hardcover. 1891.
