Fine-looking reprint of the original true First Edition of this title, published in 1864. Two hundred sixty-four woodcuts by F.W. Fairhold and with a folding plate of alphabets, quite fine. Laid in is a folded note of corrections from the publisher regarding the inscriptions of three Ancient Hebrew coins. Sturdy, attractive, tightly bound hardcover, clean, if toned, minimal rubbing to extremities. Bound in blue cloth over boards, another blue cloth-backed spine, gilt lettering thereto. Bumping to spine head and foot, else clean, bright of interior and tightly bound. xi [1], 2-350 pp.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards. Additional postage may be required for oversize or especially heavy volumes, and for sets.
