Blue cloth hardcover with gilt borders, gilt decorations and title on the front cover. Gilt title on the spine. Top edge gilt. Light insect rubs to the blue cloth front cover. More insect rubs to the back cover. Number 30 written top of the spine. Both hinges have very narrow cracks. Light toning to the end papers. Interior contents very clean. Inscription written on the right front flyleaf reads "Magical Meyrick 1918." Ink stamped notice on the front paste down reads "Georgia Magic Club Ring #9 - Atlanta In Memorium Robert Foster Maddox, Jr. July 20, 1896 - March 16, 1949. Scarce first American edition copy that is undated but published in 1914.
