Boards have some moderate edge wear, with slight bumping to corners and minor bumping to spine ends. Gilt is bright. Unclipped jacket has light edgewear with small tears and creasing. Jacket is slightly rubbed and marked overall. Flaps slightly foxed. Jacket is in a transparent sleeve.

Bertsche, Jr. Known simply as "X", Beidler had a knack for tracking down and arresting killers and other outlaws and bringing them to justice in the mostly lawless days of the Montana Territory of the 1860s. With five black & white illustrations and a foreword by A. B. Guthrie, Jr. --- In full red marble-look paper-covered boards with spine titling in gilt on black block.
