Oxford: John Henry Parker. Very Good. 1835. Hardcover. Two volumes (1 and 3) in full calf leather with bright marbling to all endpapers and edges. Stiff clean unmarked text. Some staining to both front boards. Front board of Vol 3 detached and rear board almost so. Five raised bands with decorative stamping to spine. Greek text with footnotes and marginalia in English. 468 pp + 536 pp ; The text according to Bekkers edition with some alterations Illustrated by Maps, taken entirely from Actual Surveys; with Notes, chiefly historical and geographical, by Thomas Arnold .
