Edinburgh: R. & R. Clark, Limited, 1928. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 4to - over 9¾" - 12. N/a. 416pp. 1928. First edition. 4to. sized. Limited edition to just two hundred and fifty copies - of which this is number 214. Original publisher's cream buckarm cloth over blue cloth boards gilt embossed to the spine. A large paper edition - the whole printed on what appears to be hand-made paper. Upper edge gilt. No inscriptions. 2 leaf corners have been a little turned at the head. Some light spotting to the leading and lower fore-edges and slight spotting to the rear endpapers. A light stain mark to the head of the spine measuring 1.5cm x 0.8cm and a couple of tiny circular speck/stain marks. A very good, clean, tight well preserved limited editions copy, privately printed by R. & R. Clark - probably on behalf of the Bank.
