Printed on Quality 'rough cut paper, with irregular edges some have some light tanning due to exposure. Many 'uncut' pages. Some offsetting (light browning) to the endpapers and a little to the pages with tissue guards - which is odd as the guards are supposed to 'guard' against that! . Also some offsetting opposite the sepia images o/w NO INSCRIPTIONS or marks. Internally VERY Clean, Tight and Bright. This is a fascinating look at the history of this Abbey, situated in St Dogmaels in Pembrokeshire, Wales, on the banks of the River Teifi and close to Cardigan and Poppit Sands. See Images; 4to .
