The title and seal are on the front cover in gilt. Binding has moderate rubbing to boards, a few small spots at lower right corner of front board. Scuffing at the headcap and the foot of the spine. Wear and fraying to the fore-edge of front board. Top edge of text block is gilt. The front inner hinge is broken with the muslin beneath exposed. The rear inner hinge is also cracking but not as much. Edges of pages are toned, some pages are dog-eared. Text is otherwise unmarked. Illustrated with several plates. Complete with the errata sheet tipped in at the front.
