Nashville: Publication Committee, 1904. First. Hard Cover. Spine lettering faded as with all copies. Cracked hinges, otherwise tight and square. Contains a number of small check marks in the margins that are easily erased./None. The 20th was formed in the Nashville area. They went on to serve in the Army of Tennesse and were engaged at Shiloh and Chickamauga. Following the Atlanta campaign, the regiment followed Hood to Tennessee and the army's destruction at Franklin and Nashville. The 20th spent most of its service in General Bate's command, Stewart's Corp.

Unusual book organization with lengthy and detailed company histories and rosters at the beginning of the text.. This followed by the regimental history and closes with a number of personal biographies.
