New York: Harper & Brothers Publishers, 1906. Hardcover. Fine. Seven volumes, 8vo. Volumes 1 and 2 are later printings, the remainder are first editions. Bound by The Booklovers Shop, Cleveland, in half brown morocco, spines in six compartments with raised b ands, top edges gilt; marbled sides and endpapers. A fine, bright set with barely a trace of wear. With the Haskell bookplate in each volume.
The was started by the Groilier Club in 1895 as The Club Bindery. In 1909 it became the Rowfand Bindery, then The Booklover Shop in 1914, and finally The French BInders from 1918-1920.
