New York: Knopf, 1982. 673 pp. Deep blue and gilt boards with gold lettering on the spine only. Boards have very slight shelf wear to the extremities. Unclipped, pictoral dust jacket has former seller's sticker on front flap. Jacket is soemwhat toned. Author photo on the back flap. Binding is square. While endpapers are lightly toned, and page edges very lightly foxed, interior pages are clean and unmarked. Chockful of illustrations and maps.. First American Edition. Hardcover. Very Good+/Good. Octavo.
