Association Copy, SIGNED AND INSCRIBED at 2nd front end page by Anne Page Chandler, the author's daughter and dedicatee of Volume I - " Written by Harvey Page, San Antonio Texas From Anne Page Chandler to Isobel Chandler Madsen October 1930". Additionally inscribed by Ms. Chandler at Dedication Page of Vol. I "(Now Mrs. R. E. Chandler, Brig. Gen., see Who's Who in America , 1945 for distinguished record)". Three volumes in original paper covered boards with red cloth at spine, illustrated front covers, illustrated throughout in works copied from biblical, historical, and art works by the Mills Engraving Company. Very Good, light rubbing at corners, end papers browning, wear to cloth at spines of Vols. II and III, with some spotty loss of cloth to Vol. III, p. 19 of Vol. I with a lengthy marginal inscription in ink. An insightful and amusing example of early 20th c. humorous and historical verse.
