H.F. & G. Witherby, 1924. Book. Good. Hardcover. 1st Edition. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. First edition in gilt-embossed red cloth illustrated with 4 b/w plates. Boards remain square and fairly bright with fading on spine. Text block is intact, pages are clean with a sprinkle of foxing here and there and a touch of tanning on endpaper. Text and b/w plates are clean and unmarked. Fronstpiece is still tissue-protected albiet slightly wrinkled. This is still a respectable copy. .
