About This Item
New York: Little, Brown & Co., 2004. First Edition, First Printing. . Hardcover. Fine/Near Fine. The Pulitzer-Prize-winning Wouk's first novel in ten years features Guy Carpenter, a NASA scientist, happily married, living a quiet life, who suddenly finds himself at the center of an enormous, international scandal which gives Wouk ample opportunity to use both his deep insight and considerable sense of comedy in a sharp-edged satire about American politics, the media, and science; the boards and text are clean, tight, square; the dustjacket shows only minimal surface and edgewear. A collectable copy.
