First edition. 8vo; 212pp + [4] publisher's ads; blue linen over board, gilt-stamped lettering and decorative orange tree design on front, gilt lettering on spine; color fp with titled tissue guard + 75 plates with tissue guards; front board lightly warped, scratch on front board, shelf wear on bottom edge; very good plus. Nicolaas Wilhelm Jungman [Jungmann] (1872-1935) was a Dutch painter and illustrator. During his marriage to Beatrix Mackay they collaborated on this book. The book takes a tour through the provinces of the Netherlands with beautiful painted illustrations picturing the people and the landscapes.
