The Title Page And Contents Page Are Also Detached And Are Significantly Worn And Frayed At All The Edges' Apart From These Defects, All The Rest Of The Contents Are Very Good And Robustly Bound In. , 39 Tinted Lithographic Plates By The Great Nineteenth Century Lithographers - 'Day And Son'. Each Of The Full Page Landscape Plates After David Roberts - The Great Nineteenth Century Travel Artist Famous For His Views Of Arabia, Egypt And The Ancient Near East. The Plates Are As Follows: Frontispiece, Additional Title Page, 29 Other Views (Including Several Of Egypt A View Of The Roman Forum And One Of The Acropolis - Athens), 6 Maps And Plans And Finally 2 Family Register Plates (Printed To Both Sides - 4 Pages In All -One Filled In, With Dates From 1835). All Plates Tissue Guarded. Requires Re-Binding. There Is No Precise Date For This Printing. We Guess 1860 Because One Of Three Entries In The Family Registry Plates Is A Marriage Dated 1858.
