Illustrated through-out including a color lithographed frontis-plate and many full page black & white plates. O riginally owned by the Peddycourt/Tomlinson Family with several pages of family records/information filled in. 10" x 13", 1342 pages plus an 86 page Chronological Index at the rear. The Bible has been professio nally restored. A black cloth spine has been laid-down with a large po rtion of the original spine then attached. Both inner hinges have been reinforced. The leather covers show some rubbing to their corners and edges. A clear shellac has been used to stabilize the leather. The pa ges are tanned but are in overall good condition. Cleveland: The Burrows Bros. Company, 1890. Leather. 1338p; 47p concordance; 36p Psalms. A large, thick hardcover book bound in full black leather stamped in gilt and blind, with gilt foredges. The spine has been neatly restored, preserving most of the original leather. The corners are scuffed, and the bottom edge of the first blank endpaper is worn. Early owner's inscription on a front endpaper, dated 1902. Light foxing on the plates; otherwise, text clean and binding secure. A deluxe edition of the King James Bible with concordance and family record section, which has not been filled out. Illustrated in both color and black and white. Measures approx. 12.75" x 10.25
