(1st) Large, heavy book, dark green cloth spine, dark blue boards with embossed initials at top front, gilt lettering very fine on spine, microtear near spine middle, red inside covers and adjacent end papers. DJ has lavender background with illustration of battleships, framed b/w illustrations of Woodrow Wilson, FDR, Churchill and Kaiser Wilhelm, color-illustrations of men and women on front and back. DJ has crease at spine bottom edge with microtear, tiny white spots on most of back. Good DJ/Very Fine book.
