"Hoodwinked" is one of those books whose importance lies in their providing us with a quick reference to what we knew, or suspected. What Cashill tells us about Hiss, Alex Haley, Rachel Carson and DDT,and some more is not news to those, who, like me lived through it...But the younger will learn two important things: Truth can be shouted down, and/or ignored when strong forces--in this case The Left--are committed to lies.Cashill, I think, is too committed to Christianity as cure for Leftist mischief. He overlooks how Marxism has taken hold in places where Christianity is an "outsider".But as a whole, a worthwhile book.
