First edition of the first book of Thomas Bernhard's poetry that would be translated into English (as IN HORA MORTIS / UNDER THE IRON MOON : POEMS, in 2006). Bernhard (1931-1989) wrote three well-received volumes of poetry in the 1950s before turning to the fiction for which he is generally known.
