Blue cloth on boards, gilt titles and gilt circular emblem of Wentworth Crabbet Park on front of cover; tiny spot to front and very faint touch of a little soiling. Edges: top-edge once dark blue now only lightly faded, just a a couple of faint foxings and small smudge to to bottom edge corner. Ffep inscribed: Darling Ayda from Grandmother! (Mummy) Xmas 1959. Frontis: b/w photo of The Author. Clean semi-glossy contents. B/w & colour illustrations and line drawings. Binding is VG+. 155p Dj: moderate age yellowing, light soiling and few only foxings. Spine: light browning, head & foot with thin wear & chips; head with open tears and section missing: rearside 1 x 1cm and frontside 2 x 3 cm. Top-edge to front jacket with couple of small tears. Head & foot of flaps spines with thin wear and chips.. First Edition. Hb. VG/VG.
