First edition. Scarce work. A romance of old Ireland, and the retelling of the mythical saga of Cu Chulainn or the hound of Cullan, a great and fearsome Irish Wolfhound owned by a smith who made weapons for the King. Written by Frederick Annesley Michael Webster, a British writer, novelist, soldier, and athletic champion. In the original full cloth binding. Externally, smart with light bumping to the head and tail of the spine and the odd small mark to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with scattered spotting predominantly to the first and last few pages. Ink stamps to the pastedowns and title page. Good
