Pictorial dust jacket with mylar covering; red cloth boards with gilt lettering on spine. DJ has minor chipping at head and foot of spine and light soiling, else very good. In this novel the reader takes part in a classic coon hunt with the famous hound-dog man, Blackie Scantling, the hero of every man and boy with a touch of wanderlust - the despair of the mothers and daughters and other practical citizens. .
