Harcourt, Brace Jovanovich, New York., 1973. First Edition.. Hardcover. Near Fine/VG+. 8 1/2 H x 5 3/4 W x 1 1/4 inch. NON SMOKING STORE. My listing includes PHOTO OF ACTUAL BOOK for sale. Book Interior NEAR FINE / Boards Very Good Plus / Dust Jacket Very Good Plus. Book Club Edition. Sewn binding. Rag edge pages. Book very gently read once. Boards are blue cloth, lettering gilt. Book spine is straight, square, solid, no sunning, has a small crease at head and three at toe with a bump-type crease on free edge, spine has only minor edge wear. Dust jacket is white/blue, lettering gold/grey/white, black/white photo front. Dust jacket is NOT PRICE CLIPPED, has a bit of age darkening on edges and folds of flaps, dj spine has small bits of colour off top and bottom edge and a 3/4 inch black line not a remainder mark but owner’s category code, dj has minor colour chipping along blue edges and flap folds, dj has no rips or holes or stains, and very minor edge wear. Book boards are flat, clean, bright, no rips, one bent corner tip, no sunning, in excellent shape, has some tiny white dots of paint on bottom board edges, no edge wear. Front cover has signature of Anne Morrow Lindbergh embossed at publication in gilt. Page edges white, very slightly sunned, bottom edges have a few small faint brown dots. Front inner end papers are gold with first two pages of her diary June 10, back inner end papers are gold with two different pages of her diary. Inside of book is tight, clean, bright, clear, flat. Book seems to be a bit over-opened at Page 213 but spine is not broken or torn, no pages are loose or missing. 32 pages of black/white photo plates.

IMPORTANT RE POSTAGE: I'm in Canada so books to the USA/Other Countries are International shipments and may be delayed by CUSTOMS and/or HOMELAND SECURITY. I'm using the Biblio standard postage matrix, which gives average postage fees, therefore sometimes for an OVERSIZE or LARGE heavy book or expensive book, the postage may be too low and may require extra charges. If I know this in advance, I will notify the buyer before the order is processed.

This is not a huge book warehouse, it is a small one-owner store run by a true book lover. POSSIBLE DELAYS: I'm elderly and disabled and while this usually does not cause a delay in order processing, it sometimes may cause a small delay for me to get to the post office.
