About This Item

New York: E.P. Dutton & Co, Inc., 1950. Hardcover. Good/Very Good. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. Ernest H. Shepard. Good, plus a bit. See scans and description. New York: E.P. Dutton, 1950. The House at Pooh Corner, by A.A. Milne, the Dutton 1950 Re-set edition, with a small piece of laid-in period ephemera. Illustrated in black and white internally, in full color on the wraparound jacket, by Ernest H. Shepard190 pp. 12mo, illustrated jacket, light blue cloth boards with maroon and black imprinting and decoration, illustrated endpapers, (xi + 1 + 178). Very Good jacket with small-scale tatter at spine ends and corners (see scans), on a book which is just Good, due to notable fade mottling on both covers from an unknown source (see scans). This precludes a very good grade. No internal writing, and no other salient flaws to the bright, tight book. Laid-in is a piece of period ephemera (scan), which appears to be part of a larger set of unknown nature. Ships in a new, sturdy, protective box - not a bag. L202
