Green cloth over boards with gilt lettering to top board and spine. Very slight rubbing to extremities of spine and boards. Decorated endpapers. Previous owner's ink inscription (1902) to title-page. Page bottom and fore-edges cut to slightly differing sizes.
With chapters on "men who have formed libraries", different types of libraries, how to buy, bibliographies, etc., ending with a list of 100 'important' books.
