A First (1961) Edition, later (13th) printing, in 48 pages, with illustrations throughout by Walter Ferguson, best known for his drawings for the "Misty of Chincoteague" books. Softcover book is in VG condition: very clean, binding straight & strong, pages mildly tanned, heavier around all edges, commensurate with age. Former owner's name & a couple of crayon marks on title page, else unmarked.
