NY: Harper & Bros., 1925. First Edition . 1/4 Bnd cloth/paper. Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Pyle, Howard. 249pp, color & b/w plates. Frontispiece ("The Mermaid", in color) is first appearance of this work. Introduction by N.C. Wyeth. Hinge papers have parted, but book is sound in binding, interior is clean, with only very minor occasional foxing. Cover boards are moderately darkened from age & handling, title pastedown on backstrip is rubbed, but legible, corners rubbed.
