Power Play Pubns. Traverse City. 1995. Fine second printing in black paper boards and bold gilt lettering to spine. Fine unclipped ($32.95) jacket protected with removable mylar cover. Signed bookplate on half title page. It wasn't until 1989 that Wayne Gretzky broke Howe's records for points (1,850) and until 1994 for Gretzky to break his record for goals (801). Playing right wing, Howe (1928-2016) spent his first 25 years in the NHL with the Detroid Red Wings. Howe led the Red Wings to 4 Stanley Cups (1950, 1952,1954 & 1955). Collen Howe manged Gordie's business interests and founded the Detroit Junior Red Wings. Mr & Mrs. Hockey, aptly enough, are their trademarked names. 6.25x9.25. 428 pg.
