Jaime Quezada Ruiz (Los Angeles, 1942) is a Chilean poet, essayist, literary critic and member of the so-called literary generation of 1960. His poetic work draws from the lyrical tradition, while incorporating elements of antipoetry and his religious vision. A comienzos de los sesenta fundo la revista de poesÃa "Aruspice" en la que se publican los primeros "Artefactos" de Nicanor Parra; en ella colaboraron autores como Lezama Lima, Julio Cortazar, Gonzalo Rojas y otros latinoamericanos; esta revista se destaco como la expresion de la poesia joven de esos anos. . . Cultural de las Condes con el patrocinio de la Sociedad de Amigos del Arte. Constante recorredor de Chile, en afanes geograficos, naturalistas e historicos, los que lo llevan de la patagonia al extremo norte, incluyendo el archipielago de Juan Fernandez. Botanico de corazon y estudios. Repitio en 1981 la ruta de los Pehuenches hasta el volcan Antuco, por las mismas sendas recorridas por Gay, Pissis, Domeyko y otros. Desde 1977 es critico literario de la revista "Ercilla" y critico de poesia en revista "Paula". "Huerfanias", que aparece en Pehuen Poesia reune sus trabajos poeticos de los ultimos ochos anos. . .
