About This Item
Reviews
This hasn't been the first book I've read by D. du Maurier so I can honestly say that her books are hits or misses. This one is definitely a Hit next to Rebecca and My cousin Rachel! I don't want to get into details concerning the plot, but the story follows a family throughout generations. In each generation there are compelling characters, intriguing storylines which make you turn the page faster and faster. It took me a little while to get completely lost in the story, but since the middle of the book I was waiting each day for my workshift to be over and just to jump into bed, grab the book and read. I devoured the last 150 pages in one sitting.
