Water marking to rear board. Unclipped jacket has moderate edgewear with chips, tears, and creasing. Light tanning to spine and edges. Light foxing overall.

Only the first four editions of this book have the green cloth with the three gold animal heads on the cover. Gift inscription to former owner on back of front free endpaper. This is an amazingly nice copy showing very little wear. It was obviously well cared for by one collector and should go to the home of another. Truly near fine in original cloth.
