Magnificantly illustrated in the art deco style with colour plates maps and assorted vignettes by Beryl Tumiati. Introduction by our personal favorite 20th century tyrant- Benito Mussolini, extolling the virtues of Itallian Seafaring history (Facist Dictator as children's book censor- Quite Odd.) Very small "Printed in Italy" stamp to rear cover, small staining to edges, mild wear to extremities, corners bumped, private library stamp to title page, some toning to page edges. A Good solid copy.
