Methuen & Co Ltd, 1924. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1924. Fifth Edition. 183 pages. No dust jacket. Blue cloth with gilt lettering. Cracking to gutters, with exposed netting, causing binding to be shaky. Pages are moderately tanned and foxed throughout. Ex Libris plate to front pastedown. Minor pencil marking to front free end paper and both paste-downs. Minor brown marks on pages 110-120. Binding is cocked. Boards have heavy edge-wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Minor fraying to cloth at spine ends. Book has a slight forward lean. Top edge of text block is dust marked. Gilt lettering is darkened.
