London: Hodder & Stoughton, 1941. First Edition. Hardcover. Good Condition/Fair. Thyssen was Germany’s biggest industrial magnate. He organised the passive resistance in the Ruhr in 1923 and financed Hitler for 15 years before disagreeing with him, whereupon he fled to France. “No one knows what has happened to him since” says the jacket. First edition in light blue boards with black lettering to the spine (where the title and author is repeated three times), and to the front board. The dust jacket has a couple of chips and nicks to the edges and some short repairs. Scarce UK edition in good overall condition. Size: Octavo (standard book size). Category: History; .
