London:Johathan Cape, (1931). First Edition. hard cover. Very Good/Good. London:Johathan Cape. (1931). 1st edition. 299pp. Hardcover with dust jacket. Beige boards with patterned design to spine strip lightly soiled and shelfworn, with light wear along edges. Internally end-pages just slightly age-toned with a previous owners bookplate to inside front board but otherwise clean. The binding is tight with hings intact. The dust jacket is in good condition, still in one piece but soiled and shelfworn, with many chips and tears to edges and folds. The spine strip has been reinforced on verso, with an old tear to front cover repaired with same. It is not price clipped.
