Marbled endpapers, internally clean and crisp. Inscribed to recto of front blank fly-leaf: 'With many kindest remembrances from Seymour Hicks 1919.' The sole edition of actor, theatre manager, and author Seymour Hicks's (1871-1949) comic aphorisms regarding polite conduct in contemporary Britian. . First edition. 8vo.
